Urodynamics is a highly specialised branch of urology that studies the function of the lower urinary tract and is therefore suitable for diagnosing pathological conditions such as detrusor contraction deficiency, mechanical voiding obstruction, urinary incontinence, urinary retention, increased urinary frequency and urgency syndromes in both men and women and in children.
