Acute renal failure
Acute renal failure is a serious medical condition characterised by a sudden decline in the functional capacity of the kidneys.
Acuterenal failure has many causes, the main ones being, by way of example only, myocardial infarction, glomerulonephritis or bladder cancer and many others.
The clinical picture is very broad and reflects the functional impairment of the kidneys.
With prompt and appropriate treatment, there is a good chance that kidney function can be restored. Medica S.p.A. has developed a wide range of CRRT products for adult/paediatric use, including medical devices and equipment that can also treat patients with respiratory failure.
