A bladder post-void residual scanner is a medical device that uses ultrasound to measure the volume of the bladder non-invasively and without any discomfort to the patient by detecting the amount of urine left in the bladder after urination.
This device can be used to diagnose bladder emptying problems and to monitor the treatment of these conditions. Bladder ultrasound can also give information about the amount of urine left in the bladder after urination.
